A narrow garden in need of structure

Before, this was a typical long, thin Cambridge garden, with a paved area at the house end.

I created a new curved lawn to reduce the narrow look of the garden and added a brick path to give structure to the design. By using a soft, curvy shape I have given the garden more interest. The snaking path invites you to wander down towards further areas of garden beyond the garden studio.

Matching the bricks used for the path with the little paved area just in front of the studio gives the hard landscaping some continuity and also connects the garden to its neighbouring properties.
